Supplying shutter doors for global vehicle manufacturers

Dover Roller Shutters has a long history of working with international vehicle builders and fleet operators. In 1975, we began exporting to the United States and became the designer and sole supplier of emergency vehicle shutter doors to one of the USA’s largest fire vehicle manufacturers.

Over the years, we have shipped hundreds of shutters to this customer alone, maintaining consistent quality and never interrupting production schedules. This partnership reflects Dover’s reputation for dependable supply and technical excellence.

UK-based export manufacture and quality control

All design, manufacture, and export operations are managed directly from our UK facility, ensuring full quality control.

We do not currently use international agents or distributors, which allows us to maintain clear communication with every customer and ensure all vehicle shutter doors meet the same high standards as those supplied domestically.

Depending on order size, shutters are packed securely in cartons or wooden crates to minimise the risk of damage during shipping. Orders are shipped globally by air, sea, or road. Manufacturing lead times are typically around ten working days, with delivery times varying depending on destination and chosen transport method.

Each vehicle shutter door is carefully inspected before dispatch to guarantee that it arrives ready for installation.

Emergency and commercial vehicle shutter door solutions

Dover exports both emergency and commercial vehicle shutter doors, supporting a wide range of operational requirements. Whether for new vehicle builds or retrofit applications, our team provides assistance from design through to delivery.

All products include a 12-month warranty on defective parts, excluding damage caused by misuse or incorrect installation.
